These terms govern your use of techinks.com and any order you place with us. Buying from us means accepting them.
Who we are

Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm dispatch, not when payment is taken. If we cannot fulfil an order — stock gone, a pricing error, a destination we cannot ship to — we will tell you and refund in full.
We may cancel an order where the price shown was clearly wrong, where we suspect fraud, or where a compatibility problem means the equipment cannot work as you intend.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars and exclude import duties and taxes, which are payable by you on arrival. We can change prices at any time, but not after your order is accepted.
Obvious pricing errors are not binding. If an item is listed at a small fraction of its value, that is a mistake rather than an offer, and we will contact you rather than ship it.
Product information
Depth ratings, dimensions, port systems and compatibility notes come from the manufacturer. We publish them as given and correct them when we learn better. Photographs are representative; manufacturers revise finishes and hardware without notice.
Compatibility guidance we give in writing — by email, chat or the compatibility finder — is given in good faith on the information you provide. If you tell us the wrong lens, the answer will be wrong too.
Using the equipment
Underwater photography equipment fails when it is not maintained. You are responsible for inspecting and replacing seals, seating O-rings cleanly, closing latches, and staying within the stated depth rating. Vacuum-check your housing before every dive if it supports one.
We are not liable for damage to cameras, lenses or other property caused by equipment that was misused, unmaintained, modified, or taken beyond its rating. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the equipment.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Returns and warranty
Set out in the refund and returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
Delivery
Set out in the shipping policy. Delivery estimates are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery.
Accounts
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account being used fraudulently or abusively.
Your content
Reviews, photo contest entries and messages you send us remain yours. By submitting them you allow us to display them with attribution. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or not yours to submit.
Intellectual property
The site, its text, layout and images belong to us or our suppliers. Product names and trademarks belong to their manufacturers. You may not copy the site for commercial use without permission.
Privacy

Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Consumer protections available to you where you live are not affected.
