Refund and Returns Policy
30 days to change your mind on unused equipment. Two years of warranty cover on manufacturing and seal defects. Both are set out in full below.
Returning something you have not used
You have 30 days from delivery to return unused equipment in its original packaging, with any seals, caps and test cards included. Start by contacting us for a return authorisation — parcels sent back without one are difficult to trace to an order.
Once it arrives and is checked, we refund to the original payment method within five business days. Refunds cover the goods; the original shipping cost is refunded only where the return is our error or the item is faulty.
Return postage is yours unless the item is faulty, wrongly described, or we sent the wrong thing. Use a tracked service — until it reaches us it is your parcel.
What cannot be returned as a change of mind
- Equipment that has been in water. Once a housing has been dived it cannot be sold as new. This does not affect your warranty rights if it is faulty.
- Made-to-order items. Built for you by the manufacturer, so they cannot be returned to stock. The product page says so before you buy.
- O-rings, lubricant and consumables once opened, for the same reason no one wants a used seal.
- Items returned incomplete — missing caps, tools, cases or test cards — until the missing parts are supplied.
Faulty equipment
Manufacturing and seal defects are covered for two years from purchase. That includes a housing that leaks under normal use within its depth rating, a control that seizes, a coating that delaminates, or a part that fails without misuse.
It does not cover damage caused by a seal that was not maintained, a hair or grain of sand across an O-ring, impact damage, a housing taken past its rating, or a battery door left unlatched. These are the causes of most floods, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
Floods
Tell us immediately — do not dry it out and send it a fortnight later. Rinse in fresh water, do not power it on, and photograph the housing, the seal and the sealing surface before you clean anything.
We assess every flood individually and will tell you plainly whether we believe it is a manufacturing fault or a maintenance one. Where it is ours, we repair or replace. Where it is not, we will quote for repair and tell you what failed so it does not happen twice.
Wrong fit
If a port or housing does not fit the camera you told us about, and we confirmed that fit, we cover it — return shipping included. If it was ordered without checking, the standard 30-day unused return applies. The compatibility finder and a message to us are both free; use them before ordering.
Cancelling an order
Before dispatch, we can cancel and refund in full. After dispatch it becomes a return. Made-to-order items can be cancelled only before the manufacturer starts the build; tell us as soon as you can.
How to start
Contact us with your order number, what you are returning, and why. For a fault, include photographs. We will reply with a return authorisation and the address to send it to.
